Apparently in affiliation with Chicago’s Healthy Streets Campaign comes this very, very darkly humorous “TV ad.” Very dark. (You have been warned, sensitive viewers think twice unless you drive):

I have to give it good marks for “impact” (sorry) and unflinching satire. Found through Portland’s Bicycle Transportation Alliance.

We made a half-serious effort to emigrate to the Netherlands in 2003, where this kind of scene is too common to merit notice. We settled instead for Portland, where this isn’t all that freakish anymore. We’re doing our little part.
