I am considering it. Not sure I want to drill more holes in my board than necessary however.. I put it on the top before this mornings ride to see what it would look like. It does fit and will look pretty dang cool besides.. Its concave though, so not to comfy to sit on, but I plan on taking the current board and having someplace upholster it.

I’ve often thought that replacing the snapdeck with an actual skateboard would be a great human-powered multimodal transportation scheme. Unfortunately, my skateboarding days are almost 20 years behind me (and even then, I wasn’t good at it) – I’m not sure it would be a good idea for me to take up skateboarding again. OTOH, last year, I rode past a middle-aged man who appeared to be teaching himself to ride a skateboard. As I passed, he fell backwards onto the pavement HARD. It looked really painful. I think it’s one of those things that you have to learn when you’re a kid, then stick with it.

I think I’m going to move my Xtracycle FreeRad and 26″ wheels to a Karate Monkey frame, like the pictures you had up awhile back.
