A Surly Singleator keeps the chain under tension. The motor is a modified X-lite 409 with a 16T freewheel, attached to the post with a custom mount and four ZSI UB1PA U-bolt cushioned pipe clamps.
The controller is hidden in a utility bag under the seat. For power I used a Voloci battery, 36V/13Ah NiMH, attached with two corner braces and Velcro straps to a Weeride support bar (so I can take it off easily and use it for my Voloci, too).
