In 2002, one of us bought some long merino wool underwear from then-local Rivendell Bicycle Works. They were soft and warm, and never, ever stank. These many years later, we own a few more pairs of the same underwear, but the very first pair is still good as new, despite riding in them almost every day between October and May here in town. We give them as gifts, and everybody raves. So we’ve decided to import them from Australia to Portland, because there’s nothing as good.
They are not tight unless maybe you’re super buff. They have no fly, so can almost pass as sweat pants. They are perfect below our Stealth Pantaloons in the cooler 3 seasons.
Machine wash and dry, nothing fussy.
You can’t return or even try on underwear, so you have to trust us.
