I haven’t posted lately out of embarrassment at how slowly I’ve been shipping product. Even though I’m self-employed, so my delays hurt only me, I can’t escape the sense of displeasing some vague boss. It’s not like I’m sitting around idly. It’s the confluence of many things, but mainly I have failed to account for the fact that having paid work doesn’t make my unpaid responsibilities around the house go away: I’m still dad to a 3-year old whose mother works full-time. We have a number of partial remedies for this in various stages of development; eventually they’ll let me “turn the crank” like I need to. In the meantime, those of you in line for a kit, don’t assume that you need to wait until I get new stock in. I have plenty of perfectly good stock awaiting my final assembly.
A slow start
