While Bromptons arrive from the factory with a better build quality than many bikes , the Clever Cycles Brompton Pro Build adds another layer of inspection and fine adjustments that assure your new Brompton is dialed in to a level that exceeds that typical factory build. If your Brompton is being shipped, we also protect the bike with additional packing materials to make sure it arrives in prestine condition. 

Whether you choose a Brompton Electric or a Standard Brompton, here’s the detailed process your bike undergoes when you select our Brompton Pro Build:

• Frame & parts inspected for flaws & shipping damage
• Wheels trued & tensioned 
• Fasteners tightened to spec with fastener lock/grease where appropriate
• Grips adjusted
• Handlebar clamp torqued to spec
• Brakes & gears adjusted
• Pedals torqued to spec
• Cranks and chaining bolts torqued to spec
• Headset adjusted
• Seat clamp adjusted
• Hubs adjusted
• Chain tensioner nut torqued to spec
• Inspect bottom bracket
• Chain tensioner nut torqued to spec
• Adjust lower stop disc for proper clearance
• Tires inflated 
• Install additional purchased accessories
• Check lighting / electrical firmware if appropriate 
• Second mechanic checkover
• Test ridden
• Owners manual and included accessories
• Repackaged with additional shipping protection
