Back in 2009, we were watching Urban Arrow take shape in Amsterdam from afar, keeping a close eye even in those early internet glimpses. Clever Cycles had only been open a couple of years, but it was immediately clear they were building something different. We imported a few of the very first Urban Arrows—before there was even North American distribution. They didn’t feel like just another cargo bike. They felt like a real family vehicle.

Fast forward to today, and in Amsterdam you can barely turn a corner without spotting an Urban Arrow loaded with kids, dogs, or groceries. We backed them early, and we still do.

Urban Arrow is built around a simple idea: replace short car trips with something lighter, quieter, and easier to live with. Low step-through frames, protective EPP cargo boxes, and Bosch motor systems make everyday hauling feel natural instead of like a chore.

What sets them apart is the integrated system approach. Frame, box, seats, rain covers, and cargo modules were engineered together from the start. That’s why an Urban Arrow stays stable and composed, even with two kids and a full grocery load out front.
