How We Evaluate Your Ebike

Brand

Trusted names get higher value. We accept many e-bike brands, including many we don’t sell.

Original Price

We'll need to know the original purchase price of your e-bike so we can provide an accurate trade-in valuation.

Year/Mileage/Usage

Less wear = more credit. We'll need to know the year your bike was purchased. Don’t worry, normal riding wear is expected.

Market Trends

Just like cars, the used eBike market can fluctuate. We consider current demand and resale trends. If your model or style is in high demand, we can offer more; if the market is saturated or the model is older, it might fetch a bit less.

Ebike Condition Requirements

  • Good mechanical & electrical working order

    Your eBike must be in good working condition. This means it rides safely (brakes, gears, etc. functioning) and the electrical system (motor, display, wiring) works properly. Normal wear and tear is perfectly fine – scratches and scuffs happen! – but the bike should be generally well-maintained.

  • All essential components (battery, charger, key, etc.)

    Please bring all the pieces that originally came with your eBike. That includes the key (for the battery lock), the battery itself, and the charger, at minimum. If your bike has other proprietary parts or accessories that are essential to its use, include those too. (For example, if it’s a model with a removable console or special tool, pack that along.)

  • Proof of Original Purchase

    We require proof that you are the original owner (or have the right to trade in the bike). A copy of your original sales receipt or invoice is ideal. This helps verify the bike’s history and value, and it’s also for security – it assures us the bike isn’t stolen and clears any necessary background checks.

  • 1. Submit Your Bike’s Details

    Click theTrade-In Request link (below) to fill out a short form about your eBike. We’ll ask for info like the make/model, year, original purchase price, approximate mileage, and any upgrades or issues we should know about. The more details you provide, the more accurate your quote will be.

  • 2. Get Your Free Quote

    Once we receive your info, our team will get to work. We’ll evaluate your ebike based on the details you provided (using our trade-in criteria) and current market research. You can expect a response with a trade-in value quote within a couple days (often sooner). We might reach out with any follow-up questions if needed.

  • 3. Bring your bike in for a quick inspection

    Like the quote? Great! The next step is to bring your ebike into our shop for a quick inspection. This is just to verify its condition matches what was described. One of our friendly technicians will check the bike’s mechanical and electrical systems, and make sure all the essential components (battery, charger, etc.) are present. (Be sure to bring your ID and the proof of purchase along when you come in.)

  • 4. Trade In and Upgrade

    Once everything checks out, we’ll finalize the trade-in offer. Now the fun part – you get to choose your reward! You can apply your trade-in value immediately toward the purchase of a new eBike or gear or have it issued as store credit to use whenever you’re ready. We’ll take your old ebike off your hands, and you'll ride away with either a new bike or a credit for future use. Congratulations on upgrading your ride the easy way!
