Usually not. We can’t stock every color or component, and once coating, special-order parts, or frame prep has started, changes become very limited. If you need to adjust something, reach out right away and we’ll let you know what’s still possible.

Custom build pricing includes one hour of design time.

Most customers never need more than that.
If your project requires additional consultation or hands-on configuration beyond the first hour, we simply bill for the extra time at our standard shop rate. We’ll always check with you before adding time.

• 2–8 weeks for standard builds
• 4–12weeks for Cerakote or specialty finishes

Each platform offers its own strengths:

• P Line — lighter, quicker, great for mixed commutes
• T Line — ultra-light, high-performance titanium
• G Line — Brompton’s newest all-terrain option with a robust 8-speed hub

Just about everything can be swapped, upgraded, or recolored:

• Frame and component colors
• Cerakote or premium finish options
• Drivetrain (4-, 8-, or 12-speed depending on the line)
  Lighting, including dynamo systems
• Wheels, Saddles, grips, pedals, and touch points
• Small hardware, accent colors, and finishing details

We only offer components from manufacturers we trust. Everything is installed and tested in-house by experienced mechanics. No mystery internet parts, no compatibility gambles.

Handlebars, Ergon grips with bar-ends, are a couple that can. Just ask us if you have concerns. The Brompton was successful because the fold is superior and not difficult. We try not to mess with that.
