Yes — the Myon's battery carries UL certification, which means it has been independently tested to meet established electrical and fire safety standards. This is one of the things we specifically look for when deciding which ebikes to carry, and it's worth knowing before you buy any electric bike.

TurboTuned™ with Algorithm 2.0 is Segway's pedal assist system that reads your input and the terrain in real time to deliver smooth, natural power — no surging, no jerkiness. Starts from a stop, climbs, and flat cruising all feel controlled and intuitive rather than mechanical.

The Myon is selectable between Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 modes, so you can configure it to match local regulations or your preferred riding style. That flexibility makes it suitable for bike paths, roads, and everything in between.

The Myon uses electronic shifting controlled by handlebar +/- buttons paired with a 9-speed Shimano drivetrain. You don't have to reach for a traditional shifter — gear changes happen at the push of a button, cleanly and consistently.

The Myon includes AirLock™ proximity unlocking, Apple Find My integration, Lost Mode, intelligent auto-adjusting lights with built-in turn signals and brake lights, and over-the-air updates across six systems. The 2.4-inch TFT display also supports navigation. It's one of the more fully connected ebikes we carry.
