Born from David's obsession with making a Brompton fast enough for a die-hard roadie to actually want to ride, the V2 was refined over the original with sharper componentry, a race-tuned suspension block, and Schwalbe One 35mm tan-wall tyres engineered exclusively for this edition. It's the kind of bike that stops people in the street — and then rides away from them.
The signature CHPT3 Fire Red front tube paired with a textured black main frame is instantly recognisable to anyone in the know. Beneath the looks, a titanium fork and rear triangle strip serious weight from the standard Brompton formula, while the extra-firm suspension block gives a stiffer, more connected feel than anything in the regular lineup. Six speeds cover everything from traffic-light sprints to longer cross-city hauls. This example has been recently serviced and is ride-ready. Hinge and fold points carry the light scuffing of a bike that's been ridden — the frame and finish are otherwise in good shape.
