The Bosch Compact Charger 2A is purpose-built for riders who travel frequently or need a portable charging solution for their Bosch eBike System 2 electric bike. At just 600 grams and 40% smaller than the standard 4A charger, this compact unit fits easily into saddlebags, backpacks, or panniers without taking up valuable cargo space. The ventless housing design protects internal components from dirt and moisture, making it reliable for touring, bikepacking, or simply as a backup charger to keep at work or in your vehicle.
Compatible with all Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus, Performance Line, Performance Line CX, and Cargo Line motors from 2014 onwards, the 2A charger delivers gentle charging that reduces stress on battery cells. While charging times are longer than the standard charger—approximately 6.5 hours for a 400Wh battery and 7.5 hours for a 500Wh battery—the lower 2-amp charging current extends overall battery lifespan. Universal voltage compatibility from 110 to 240 volts makes this charger suitable for use in the USA, Canada, Australia, and many other regions with the appropriate plug adapter.
