The Superlight configuration means the front fork and rear triangle are titanium, paired with a steel main frame and handlebar stem, keeping weight down while adding the natural road-damping character that titanium is known for. The H-type high handlebar gives an upright, comfortable riding position, and six speeds via the BWR drivetrain handle everything from flat city streets to moderate hills.
This bike has been built up with a carefully chosen set of aftermarket components that elevate it well beyond a stock Superlight. The Brompfication titanium seatpost saves significant weight over the stock post and uses an all-titanium saddle clamp cradle — compatible with the Fizik Arione's oval braided carbon rails — that replaces the Brompton Pentaclip entirely. An H&H 40t CNC-machined aluminum chainring with integrated chainguard drops the gear range for a more relaxed cadence on hilly terrain or loaded commutes. Schwalbe One tan wall tires — originally exclusive to the 2019 CHPT3 — give the bike its fastest rolling contact patch with a slick profile, low rolling resistance, and that instantly recognizable tan sidewall that suits the purple frame beautifully.
The detail work continues throughout: a purple anodized bolt kit on the brakes and stem, Ti Parts Workshop offset gold hinge clamp levers, oil slick suspension block hardware, and a Brompfication black seat clamp quick release paired with the Brompfication rear frame clip.
