  • Details That Matter

The Arroyo uses the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, which prioritizes smooth engagement over aggressive torque. Perfect for city paths, casual riding, and anyone who wants an ebike that doesn’t surge or feel “too fast.” The Nexus internal hub allows shifting at a complete stop — a key comfort feature for urban riding, especially at busy intersections.

Unlike the belt-driven models, the Arroyo retains a classic chain drivetrain, but still avoids derailleur maintenance thanks to its sealed gear hub and chaincase. The upright cockpit, soft saddle, ergonomic grips, and shock absorption built into the frame make it one of the most confidence-inspiring Gazelle models for riders who value ease and stability over performance metrics.

  • Is This Your Gazelle? Read On.

You want an ebike that feels familiar — something that rides like a classic Dutch bike but gives you gentle electric assist when you need it. You value comfort, stability, and ease of use more than speed or tech features. You prefer a simple twist shifter, clean frame integration, and low step-through access. If you’re looking for a reliable city companion that doesn’t overwhelm with settings or require specialized maintenance, the Arroyo C7 Elite fits the brief perfectly.

  • Pure Gazelle

Rooted in Dutch transport culture, Gazelle's design philosophy is simple: make a bike people actually want to ride daily, through all seasons, with minimal fuss. The Arroyo reflects this heritage by keeping things intuitive: low entry, stable posture, sealed hub, integrated utility. A true city transport tool wrapped in comfort-first ergonomics.

Bike Sizing, Simplified

Gazelle bikes don’t come in a dozen frame sizes like racing bikes — and that’s on purpose. Their upright, comfortable design and step-through frames let each size fit a wide range of riders. A more relaxed seat tube angle and higher handlebars mean that when you raise or lower the saddle, your leg reach and distance to the bars adjust naturally. In other words, one frame can fit people who are several inches apart in height. When choosing your Gazelle, the right size depends mostly on your height and preferred riding posture, not on fine-tuned racing measurements. Use the chart below to find your size — we’ll set up the saddle and handlebars so it feels perfect for you.

Rider Height Frame Size Frame Label
4'9"–5'2" 40 XS
4'10"–5'6" 45–46 S
5'6"–5'10" 50–53 M
5'10"–6'3" 55–57 L

If you’re between sizes, choose smaller for closer handlebars and larger for a bit more reach.

Fine-tune at pickup

We’ll set saddle height and handlebar angle for you in minutes. Expect about 4 inches of seatpost range for multi-rider households.

Step-through vs step-over

Step-through: easiest to get on and off. Step-over: slightly sportier feel.
