This rear passenger rail system transforms compatible Tern longtails into a practical, everyday family vehicle. With enclosed side rails and a modular layout, it supports up to two kids in rack-mounted child seats, or converts into a roomy “trunk” for crates and bulky loads when you are riding solo.
The included Child Seat Expansion Bar creates space for two compatible rear-facing child seats, while the flat bar configuration pairs with pads and a backrest (sold separately) to make a comfortable bench for bigger kids. Extended side rails help keep little hands inboard, and integrated bottle mounts give you places to stash locks, bottles, or mugs without crowding the rack top.
