This Brompton Electric bike battery is the original version, which uses a different charging port than the newer battery model.
Please note the following:
- Charger Compatibility: This battery is ONLY compatible with the original Brompton charger. It will not work with the newer charger designed for the updated battery.
- Bike Compatibility: This battery IS compatible with all Brompton Electric bikes.
- Identification: To identify if this battery is compatible with your charger, please check the charging port on your charger and compare it to the port on the battery. If they do not match, this battery is not compatible with your charger.
- UL Certification: While this original battery model may not have been UL Certified at its initial launch, Brompton Electric's newer batteries are UL Certified, meeting the highest safety standards for electrical and fire safety.
