Forged from premium 6061-T6 aluminium, it delivers nearly twice the stiffness of the standard block while weighing 10% less — making it Brompton's lightest front carrier block ever. Brompton luggage clicks on and off in seconds, and once attached, weight sits low and forward on the bike where it has the least effect on handling, so the ride feels natural whether you're loaded up or not.
This is not an aftermarket part. The Forged FCB was designed, tested, and approved by Brompton to the strictest standards (ISO 11243), so fit, function, and long-term reliability are fully guaranteed. It mounts to the pre-existing fittings on the head tube using a 5mm allen key, 4mm allen key, and a Phillips head screwdriver — no drilling, no modification.
