Description
Mid-Size Front Rack for Everyday Cargo
The Tern Hauler Front Rack turns the space in front of your handlebars into a stable, frame-mounted cargo platform. Sized between a tiny porteur and a full crate rack, it is big enough for backpacks, grocery bags, and delivery boxes without making the bike feel sluggish or awkward at low speeds.
Bolted directly to Tern’s Combo Mount, the rack stays fixed to the frame while the wheel steers, so even heavier loads remain predictable. An open-ended platform, included bungee cord, and crate-mounting holes make it easy to adapt the rack to whatever you carry most, from a milk crate to a front bag or cooler.
Carry More, Ride Better
- Frame-mounted design keeps cargo weight off the fork for calmer handling and better low-speed control.
- Rated to carry up to 20 kg (44 lb), ideal for grocery runs, work bags, or bulky everyday loads.
- Open-ended platform works well with backpacks, boxes, and odd-shaped items that do not fit typical baskets.
- Four mounting holes in the base let you bolt on a crate or box for a semi-permanent cargo setup.
- Includes a handy bungee cord so you can strap down loads right out of the box.
- Two rear-facing bottle cage mounts add space for bottles, folding locks, or tool pods without crowding the cockpit.
- Fits GSD and HSD without increasing the overall bike length, so parking and storage stay simple.
- Compatible with Quick Release CMT hardware for fast on/off changes between cargo and non-cargo days.
