A perfect starter single speed bike with a hand brake AND backpedal coaster brake. Smaller brake levers and close reach are proportional to little kids' hands and fenders help keep them dry in the PNW rain. A fully enclosed chain helps to keep little legs clean.

Hard to say enough good about Clever Cycles—they were responsive and transparent at every stage in what turned out to be a rather drawn-out process to get us a Tern GSD Gen 3, and took pains to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted/needed. Absolutely the place to go if you need an electric cargo bike (or any other kind of bike, for that matter).
