The ABUS Adapter Chain transforms a frame lock into a complete security system by letting you secure your bike to a fixed object without adding complexity. The 6mm hardened steel chain extends 100 centimeters (3.3 feet), long enough to wrap around a lamp post, bike rack, or other solid anchor. ABUS' patented push-n-lock technology means you don't need a second key or separate locking mechanism: simply feed the chain through the frame lock's attachment housing and you're done. No fumbling with extra locks or shackles.
The coated loop ring protects your bike's paint when threading the chain through spokes or tight spaces, while the hardened steel construction resists cutting and leverage attacks. This chain works with ABUS frame locks (models 4960, 5650, 5850, 5950) and the Alarmbox 2.0, giving you the security of fixing both wheel and frame to an immovable object. A frame lock alone stops wheel theft; adding this chain stops the entire bike from being carried away.
