Classic Brooks Feel With Built-In Pressure Relief
The Brooks B17 Imperial Carved in Antique Brown starts with the time-tested B17 touring shape and adds a long central cut-out to reduce perineal pressure on longer rides. The firm 5 mm vegetable-tanned leather top supports your sit bones while flexing just enough around the carved section to improve comfort in sensitive areas.
Side lacing ties the leather flaps together so you can fine-tune how much the saddle flexes as it breaks in. Chrome steel rails, steel rivets, and rear bag loops make this a durable choice for commuting, randonneuring, and loaded touring on bikes with a slightly forward, 60° riding position.
Built to Last
- Based on the iconic Brooks B17 with a “carved” central opening for targeted pressure relief.
- 5 mm thick vegetable-tanned leather top gradually molds to your shape over time.
- Laced side panels let you adjust tension and keep the saddle from splaying as it breaks in.
- Chrome steel rails and undercarriage for long-term strength on everyday and touring bikes.
- Standard rear bag loops work with classic saddle bags for commuting or touring storage.
- Antique Brown finish pairs well with both classic steel bikes and modern commuters.
- Ideal for city, gravel, and touring use in an angled, moderately forward riding position.
