Brompton recommends 85-115 PSI for standard tires—check your sidewall for the exact range. Inspect pressure every week or two. Small wheels hold less air volume than larger ones, so pressure drops faster and low tires are more noticeable.

Bromptons fold more compact, use higher-quality components, and hold resale value far better. Dahons cost less upfront but don't match Brompton's build quality or folded size. For occasional use, Dahon works. For daily commuting, Brompton is the best choice.

Bromptons fold smaller and are lighter—better for transit and tight storage. Terns (like the BYB or Verge) fold larger but ride more like full-size bikes with bigger wheels. In the United States, a rear rack is included with the Brompton C Line. It adds cargo capacity and allows the bike to easily roll and be more stable when folded. Most Brompton owners utilize the front bag system for transporting items on their bike, but the rear rack can come in handy if you have exhausted the capacity of the front bag.

Not included, but Brompton's front luggage system is a key feature. A frame-mounted block accepts click-on bags ranging from compact pouches to 31-liter touring bags. The bag stays with the bike when folded. It's the most practical bike luggage system available.

It depends. In the United States, the bike comes with a rear rack and fenders. No bag, or lights are included in base configurations. This lets you customize.
