Telescoping seat post keeps folded size compact, but gives an additional 7” of height to play with.
Brompton part QSPTA is best for riders above 5ft 10in., or riders who want the ability to remove the saddle completely at a moment’s notice.
Other option for taller riders is the extended seatpost.

Hard to say enough good about Clever Cycles—they were responsive and transparent at every stage in what turned out to be a rather drawn-out process to get us a Tern GSD Gen 3, and took pains to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted/needed. Absolutely the place to go if you need an electric cargo bike (or any other kind of bike, for that matter).
