Bike Sizing, Brooklyn Style
Brooklyn bikes aren’t built for the racecourse — they’re built for morning coffee runs, crosstown commutes, and weekend spins through the park. You won’t find a dozen frame sizes here, because you don’t need ‘em. Each frame’s relaxed geometry and upright position make sizing simple — one frame can fit a whole lotta riders.
A slightly slacker seat tube means that when you raise or lower your saddle, your reach to the bars adjusts naturally. That’s why Brooklyn bikes feel right whether you’re tall, short, or somewhere in between.
So don’t overthink it. Pick your size mostly by height and how you like to ride — more upright for chill rides, a little lower for speed. Check the chart below, and when you stop by, we’ll dial in the fit so it feels like it was made for you.
| Frame Label | Rider Height | Inseam |
|---|---|---|
| S / M | 5'0" – 5'5" | 28" – 30" |
| S | 5'6" – 5'9" | 29.5" – 31.5" |
| M | 5'10" – 6'0" | 31" – 33" |
| L | 6'1" – 6'3" | 32.5" – 35.5" |
If you’re between sizes, choose smaller for closer handlebars and larger for a bit more reach.
Fine-tune at pickup
We’ll set saddle height and handlebar angle for you in minutes. Expect about 4 inches of seatpost range for multi-rider households.
Step-through vs step-over
Step-through: easiest to get on and off. Step-over: slightly sportier feel.
