Description
Classic Dutch Style, Modern Power, Zero Compromises
The Gazelle Arroyo C8 Elite is built for riders who want a genuinely comfortable daily bike without giving up the clean, timeless look that Dutch cycling culture is known for. A low-step hydroformed aluminum frame with a wide, open entry makes mounting and dismounting second nature, while a 68.5° headset angle and upright riding position keep you relaxed whether you're commuting, running errands, or just riding for pleasure. The 540Wh Bosch Smart System battery integrates fully into the frame — no external pack, no visual clutter — and the cables are routed internally throughout, preserving the Arroyo's refined silhouette from every angle.
The Bosch Active Line Plus mid-motor delivers 50 Nm of torque with smooth, natural-feeling assist across four support levels — Eco, Tour, Auto, and Turbo — and a Bosch Purion 200 color LCD keeps everything at a glance. A telescoping suspension fork with 40mm of travel and a suspension seatpost absorb urban road chop so the ride stays comfortable even on rough pavement. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide reliable, progressive stopping power in all weather, and a Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal hub handles shifting cleanly without the need for a rear derailleur.

Size Information
Bike Sizing, Simplified
Gazelle bikes don't come in a dozen frame sizes like racing bikes — and that's on purpose. Their upright, comfortable design and step-through frames let each size fit a wide range of riders. When you raise or lower the saddle, your leg reach and distance to the bars adjust naturally, so one frame can fit people who are several inches apart in height.
The right size depends mostly on your height and preferred riding posture. Use the chart below to find yours.
| Rider Height | Frame Size | Frame Label |
|---|---|---|
| 4′9″ – 5′2″ | 40 | XS |
| 4′10″ – 5′6″ | 45–46 | S |
| 5′6″ – 5′10″ | 50–53 | M |
| 5′10″ – 6′3″ | 55–57 | L |
If you're between sizes, choose smaller for closer handlebars and larger for a bit more reach.
Fine-tune at pickup
We'll set saddle height and handlebar angle for you in minutes. Expect about 4 inches of seatpost range for multi-rider households.
Step-through vs. step-over
Step-through: easiest to get on and off. Step-over: slightly sportier feel.
Want absolute confidence? Test ride at Clever Cycles. We'll confirm size and make small adjustments on the spot.
