The QL2.2 mounting system represents the evolution of Ortlieb's proven Quick-Lock technology—even easier to handle, more comfortable, and more robust than previous versions. The movable and rotatable locking hook features anti-scratch coating and adjusts steplessly from 8-16mm tube diameters without requiring reducers or tools, making the pannier easy to switch between bikes. With a maximum load capacity of 27.6 lbs (12.5 kg), 20 liters of main compartment volume plus 3 liters in the outer pocket (23L total), and IP64 waterproof protection rating, the Back-Roller Plus is completely dustproof and keeps splashing water safely away from all directions. Every production step—from material cutting to final inspection—takes place in Ortlieb's own facilities in Heilsbronn, Germany, ensuring genuine "Made in Germany" quality.
