A super strong pressure-sensitive adhesive using 3M technology assures the boot stays in place in any tubed tire—road or mountain, high or low pressure. Simply wipe the damaged area clean on the inside of the tire, peel off the protective backing, and squarely apply the TB-2 over the cut or worn area. The thin, extra tough film prevents the tube from protruding through the damage while providing an airtight seal. Measuring 76mm x 45mm (3" x 1.75"), each boot can be trimmed to size for smaller cuts or used full-size for larger damage. While the TB-2 should be considered a temporary fix and damaged tires should always be replaced as soon as possible, riders report successfully riding hundreds or even thousands of miles on properly installed boots, making this an essential addition to every saddle bag and repair kit.
