The Smith Sidekick Jr. Mountain Bike Helmet packs classic MTB style and Mips® Safety System crash protection into a helmet built for the youngest dirt riders. Whether your child is cruising sidewalks, hitting pump tracks, or exploring trails, this helmet delivers the design features of big kid helmets with protective technology scaled for smaller heads. The integrated visor, extended rear coverage, and 12 fixed ventilation holes keep pace with active riding without overheating.
Mips® Safety System reduces rotational forces from angled impacts, while lightweight in-mold construction fuses the exterior shell and EPS foam into a one-piece design. An adjustable dial fit system and two available sizes ensure the right fit straight out of the box, and the AirEvac™ ventilation system integrates with Smith eyewear to prevent fogging. Smith includes a drawstring helmet bag for storage and travel.
