A Wider Platform for Bar Bags, Baskets, and Daily Hauling
The Soma Demi Porteur Front Rack gives you a genuinely useful load platform at the front of your bike — wider than a standard mini rack, compact enough to keep your handling in check. At 26cm × 30cm, the deck is sized to support large handlebar bags like the Ostrich F-702 or Ocean Air Docena, as well as wire baskets or strapped cargo up to 10kg (22 lbs). The included Manny Strap gives you a ready fastening point without needing a separate bungee or strap.
Installation works on most touring, city, gravel, and hybrid forks via the fork's mini rack mounts, or with the included P-clamps for forks without dedicated rack braze-ons. Aluminum construction keeps weight at 530g, and the satin finish holds up to daily use without calling attention to itself. Made for Soma by the same folks behind Tanaka Fenders.
