Heavy-Duty Stability for Fully Loaded GSD Bikes
The Tern Atlas Kickstand is a heavy-duty, two-legged kickstand specifically designed for the GSD Gen 1 cargo bike. This kickstand is extra-wide for exceptional strength and stability, making parking and unparking your GSD easy and safe—even when the bike is fully loaded with heavy cargo or transporting children. Unlike the standard kickstand that came stock on early GSD models, the Atlas features two stand legs constructed as one solid piece for superior durability and reliability. The wide stance provides a stable base that inspires confidence whether you're loading groceries, securing child seats, or carrying gear for the whole family.
Constructed with heavy-duty steel legs and stainless steel mounting hardware, the Atlas Kickstand is built to handle the unique demands of cargo bike life. Replaceable rubber plugs allow for easy maintenance and replacement as needed, ensuring long-term reliability. Designed to support loads up to 80 kg (176.4 lbs), this kickstand upgrade transforms the parking experience on your GSD, providing rock-solid stability that makes loading and unloading cargo or passengers dramatically safer and more convenient. Professional installation by a Tern dealer is required to ensure proper mounting and optimal performance.
