The Velo Orange Rubber Mud Flap is engineered from 1/16-inch thick polyurethane rubber to resist road grime, oils, and water without the brittleness of older materials. The Short version protects your feet and drivetrain from water and mud splash on front fenders, while the Long version (often called a "buddy" flap) keeps road debris and spray off the faces of riders behind you during group rides and brevets. Both sizes mount easily inside fenders with included hardware, conforming to the fender curve while maintaining the flex and durability to last season after season.
Made in-house in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the Rubber Mud Flap installs without special tools or techniques. A gentle hand during installation—just snug the bolts and nuts without over-tightening—ensures the rubber stays pliable and tear-free. The Gum color complements modern fender designs while maintaining the same high durability and weather resistance as the classic black option.
